How Do I Make Custard Ice Cream (non-dairy)!?

So I recently got tested for food allergies and I can’t have cow’s milk, but you know it’s ok if i have butter. There’s this place nearby and they sell custard ice cream, but it’s really expensive and we can’t always go to the ice cream store! So I need to know if walmart sells custard ice cream and if they do I need a brand! Or you can give me some custard ice cream recipes thanks!
